The Itch

That would be to.......
clean
organize the playroom
rearrange some furniture
paint my bathroom
get Avery's new furniture from Nanaw's house paint it and fix her room up
paint my bedroom
recover my kitchen chairs
make cushions for my bay window
have a garage sale
plant flowers in pots and lay mulch
make my front door wreath... and
clean again

Spring is in the air because this girl's got an itch!!!!! :)

Remembering His Joy

One of my favorite verses in the bible is on a scripture sign in our house and its reads...

"May the God of all Hope give you all the joy and peace.." Roman 15:13

I am reminded of this today as life hits me hard, my friends hard, my family, people I don't even know but a sudden death occurs, people in my small group, old friends, a church attender, a neighbor....well my list could go on and on.
I am reminded to today and deep within my heart that He is the God of all Hope and He is the only one who can give me complete joy and peace. So as I have many things on my heart....
my nanaw in the nursing home
my longing for a different pace of life in a different place to live
my longing to live near family
my friends hurt
my daughters safety and education
money
future
O and the many more that can flood this woman's heart quickly. I remember this verse. I remember that ALL this does matter to God. I remember that he wants me to serve others, love on others, encourage others so His joy is made complete in me. I am reminded to stay in His word, hide His words in my heart, tell Him my dreams, desires but ask Him to continue to use this body vessel for his kingdom.
I am reminded He never lets go and takes care of ALL my needs.
What joy I have in not only knowing that but believing it!

My Tag Team Partner

Yes, that would be my Ryan! I love that at night we meet in the hall and could literally give each other high fives as we are passing by the girls rooms while putting them to bed and they each require a little something from momma and a little something from daddy. :) I love how we can pretty much finish each others thoughts or sentence. I love that he sings to his girls almost every night. I love how he makes me laugh. I love how I want to be mad at him for something and he makes me smile. I love his strong hugs. I love his big shoulders and biceps. :) I love how he plays with the girls and dances with them to silly songs. I love how he disciples our girls. I love how he loves me. I love how its been 10+ years and he still the man of my dreams.
